Hindu Yantras for Protection and Prosperity
Maha Sudarshana Yantra
The Maha Sudarshana Yantra, a sacred Hindu geometric design, is crafted from either copper or brass. It is deeply rooted in the belief that this yantra, associated with Lord Vishnu, serves as a protective shield against negative energies and obstacles. At its core, it features nine interlocking triangles extending outward from the center. These triangles are enclosed by a square adorned with four T-shaped gates, symbolizing the four cardinal directions. Devotees recite the powerful mantra “Om Namo Narayanaya” in an effort to invoke the blessings of Lord Vishnu.
Lakshmi Kubera Yantra
The Lakshmi Kubera Yantra, another revered Hindu yantra, is celebrated for its ability to draw wealth, prosperity, and abundance into one’s life. It finds its divine connection with Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity, as well as Kubera, the god of wealth and divine treasurer. The yantra’s design is a captivating lotus flower encircled by eight delicate petals, with a square symbolizing the earth element at its core. Typically forged from copper or brass, this yantra undergoes an energization process through mantras and rituals before use. The enchanting mantra associated with it is “Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kubera Lakshmiyei Swaha,” believed to beckon the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Kubera.
